What happens to the coconut oil after you use it?
We take special care to ensure our used coconut oil doesn't go to waste. After frying our premium Nendran banana chips, we send the used oil to specialised partners who convert it into Bio Diesel – a renewable, biodegradable fuel that can replace conventional diesel in many applications. This circular approach helps reduce fossil fuel dependency while giving our production materials a second life as sustainable energy.
What kind of packaging do you use for Manichips?
We use a practical two-part packaging system that balances product protection with environmental considerations. Our banana chips are sealed in PP (polypropylene) covers to ensure they remain fresh, crisp, and tightly packed during transit. For shipping, we use recyclable cardboard carton boxes that provide sturdy protection while being easier on the environment than plastic alternatives.
